The FM revolution is soon going to get Kolkata rocking!The Howrah city will witness the birth of four new private FM channels, viz., Times FM, India Today FM, 'Aamar' and 'Power 'posing a bag-packing competition to AIR Kolkata FM frequencies.

The new-generation FM wave that will hit Kolkata this March, aims to address the young, urban and upbeat crowd.

The Times FM and India Today FM have already tasted success in other cities whereas 'Aamar', a Bengali station designed by Hitz FM Radio India and the 'Power' conceived by FM Radio, will take-off in Kolkata the coming month.

All the FM stations will cater to both, Contemporary and Classic music lovers offering a wide variety of music to choose from. 'Aamar' will exclusively cater to the Bengali audience and 'Power' will be more in tune with the times, especially targeted at the age group of 18-26 years.

FM music is all set to fabricate a bridge for people from all walks of life, a competition for Howrah…???
